Terms of service

These Terms of Service apply to purchases and services from Hudson Pictures. By placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms and represents that the purchase is for business or commercial use.

Orders and site approval

An online order is a request to purchase. Hudson Pictures accepts an ownership order only after confirming the site, access, placement, power, network needs, delivery schedule, applicable tax, availability, and any location-specific charges. If we cannot accept an order after site review, we will cancel it and issue a full refund.

Changes to the equipment, site, scope, or schedule may change the price and timing. Any material change will be confirmed in writing.

Products and dimensions

Published dimensions are approximate. Picture width, picture height, and finished fixture height are identified separately. Minor variations that do not materially affect normal commercial use are not defects.

Price, tax, and payment

Ownership prices shown as installed include the Hudson wall, delivery, setup, and commissioning at an approved site. Applicable tax is additional. Location-specific freight, travel, unusual access, permits, electrical work, network work, lifts, after-hours work, or other services outside the stated scope are quoted in writing before order acceptance.

Payment is due as shown at checkout or in a written order. The customer is responsible for chargebacks, collection costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from an undisputed overdue amount, to the extent allowed by law.

Customer site responsibilities

The customer must provide accurate site information, safe and timely access, an approved placement area, suitable power, required network access, and an authorized representative for delivery and commissioning. The customer must obtain landlord, property, or other approvals unless Hudson Pictures agrees in writing to obtain them.

A single 2′1″ wall draws about 6 amps at 120 volts and runs on one standard outlet. Wider walls may require dedicated circuits. Final power requirements are planned and confirmed for the site. The customer is responsible for electrical work unless it is included in a written scope.

Delivery, commissioning, and risk

Delivery dates are estimates until confirmed. Risk of loss passes to the customer after delivery and commissioning, except for loss caused by Hudson Pictures while performing covered work. Title to purchased equipment passes after full payment.

Inspect the wall at delivery and report visible damage, missing items, or an incorrect shipment within five business days.

Limited commercial warranty

Hudson Pictures warrants for one year from commissioning that Hudson-supplied equipment and Hudson workmanship will be free from defects under normal commercial use. The customer must notify Hudson Pictures promptly, provide reasonable diagnostic access, and allow us to inspect and remedy the issue.

The warranty does not cover content, normal wear, cosmetic changes that do not affect operation, third-party networks or services, unsuitable power or environmental conditions, impact, liquid, theft, vandalism, misuse, neglect, unauthorized work, unapproved moves, or use outside published instructions. Replacement parts may be new or serviceably equivalent.

For a valid claim, Hudson Pictures may repair, replace, reperform covered work, or refund the reasonable value of the affected portion, at our option. These are the customer’s exclusive warranty remedies, except where the law requires otherwise.

Returns and cancellations

Ownership orders are final sale after delivery and commissioning. Cancellations before delivery and delivery issues are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

Hudson Managed

Hudson Managed is an optional monthly service for owners and is billed separately. It renews monthly until canceled. Cancel before the next billing date to stop future charges. Service continues through the paid period. Payments are not refundable after a monthly service period begins.

Hudson Complete Rent

Hudson Complete Rent is available to approved business customers under a separate signed 36-month agreement. Tax, a security deposit, automatic payment, site approval, and credit approval may be required. Ownership is not automatic. If the signed rental agreement conflicts with these online terms, the signed agreement controls for the rental.

Customer content

The customer keeps ownership of content it supplies and gives Hudson Pictures permission to process, resize, load, schedule, and display that content only as needed to provide the requested service. The customer is responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for its content and for ensuring it is lawful.

Acceptable use and care

The customer must use the wall safely, follow supplied instructions, maintain required clearances, and prevent unauthorized access or modification. Moving or servicing the wall without approval may affect coverage and safety.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business interruption. Hudson Pictures’ total liability arising from a product or service will not exceed the amount paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

Events outside reasonable control

Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events outside its reasonable control, including carrier delays, utility failures, site inaccessibility, natural events, labor disruption, government action, or supplier interruption. The affected party will communicate promptly and resume performance when reasonably possible.

Governing law

California law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court proceeding must be brought in a state or federal court serving Los Angeles County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.
